Planned Litters

At Sandem, my goal is to create versatile, happy, and healthy puppies that will excel in any field. There is an emphasis on early experiences and proper socialization to create lifelong companions of sound temperament and health. This includes raising all puppies under foot and exposing them to as many sights, sounds, and textures as possible during their critical early stages. Puppies will go home around 8-9 weeks of age to ensure each puppy has had a chance to fully develop their own personality and is set up for success. Buyers will not be allowed to pick out their puppy based on color or photos. Based on your goals and needs, I will determine which puppy is the best fit for you. Should there be more than one I feel is a good fit, you will be allowed to choose between them. I will not at any point hold a puppy based on color/markings or photos alone. I will accommodate a gender preference to the best of my ability. You will be living with your puppy for the next 10-15 years, so temperament is the utmost priority.

Please note preference will be given to sport, show, and/or working homes first.

All companion/non-sporting will be sent home on limited AKC registration and will be required to spay/neuter after, but no earlier, than 24 months of age. No exceptions. I will offer full registration to select homes after careful evaluation, under specific conditions and requirements with myself listed as a co-owner, as outlined in a separate contract.

All potential puppy buyers will go through a careful and thoughtful application process to determine if a GSP is right for your lifestyle. I am dedicated to producing the next generation of GSPs that possess strong natural ability in the field, versatility, and conform to breed standards, but most importantly are healthy, wonderful family companions.

At pickup, your puppy will go home with a little gift from Sandem to help welcome your new companion. This package will include:

  • AKC & NAVHDA registration

  • Final vet check with health certificate

  • First round of vaccines (as age appropriate at 8 weeks old), deworming, and microchip

  • Small bag of dog food, toy, and a blanket with mom’s scent

  • Sandem Promise - a lifetime of breeder support and advice, and lifetime take-back policy. I will ALWAYS take back any dog I have bred or co-bred for any reason at ANY point in the dog’s life if you can no longer keep and/or care for them.
